This beautiful park is composed of individual gardens designed and constructed by various ethnic groups. They were developed as a gift to commemorate the Centennial of Canada.
Comprised of 18 gardens, each reminiscent of the group they were created by (Canadian, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indian, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Scottish, Slovakian, Slovenian and Ukrainian) the Friendship Gardens are surrounded by two man-made lakes.
The gardens are at 2000 Victoria Avenue and are open daily. There is no admission to the gardens.
